CMTP is a major producer of timber pallets for export and domestic use, boxes, crates and bins, livestock penning, cardboard cartons, tote flute board bins and sundry packaging, timber mouldings, architraves and skirtings. We provide complete packing and packaging solutions, with our experienced team using all the latest material technology available.
CMTP has six manufacturing facilities in Colac, Victoria; Braeside, Victoria; Laverton North, Victoria; Albury, New South Wales; Dry Creek, South Australia; and Branxholm Tasmania.
Our sites have semi automated and automated production capabilities that produce thousands of pallets per day for swift delivery of orders without compromising quality. CMTP has full ISPM compliance and a skilled team to offer the best solution. CMTP also designs and builds customised packaging to perfectly match the needs of customers in regional and metropolitan centres across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
That service ethos is characterised by Chris and Marilyn Meade, who founded Colac Pallet Co in 1976. The company's name changed to CM Timber Processors as the business expanded its product range and opened its South Australian plant and, in 2006, this was shortened to CMTP. The business is still owned by Chris and Marilyn, whose sons have joined the rapidly growing team of packaging experts.
With the acquisition of the Aspect Packaging Company in 2008, CMTP has built a large presence in the Australian packaging industry.
