Who has the biggest box?
CMTP’s Dandenong team built the largest box the company has ever produced for industrial transport.
How big was the box?
The box measured 12 metres long, 6 metres wide, and 4.2 metres high. This made it the largest custom-built box CMTP has ever manufactured.
What was the box used for?
The box was designed to transport natural liquid gas (LNG) testing equipment from Melbourne to Ashburton North in Western Australia for the Wheatstone Project.
How was the equipment protected during transport?
Because the equipment was shipped by sea, it was fully enclosed in a vacuum-sealed moisture inhibitor bag to protect it from corrosion and environmental exposure.
