CMTP and Robotic Automation received a joint Endeavour award recently for the development and use of technology created for CMTP’s robotic system that is currently used to produce asparagus boxes at our Dandenong site.

Prior to the robotic system, one person would make 200 boxes in a single 8 hour shift. Now, the robotic system can make 1,200 boxes in a single 8 hour shift with one person running the robot.

The robotic system was a $300,000 investment which can make the products using a much safer and more efficient process, lowering our occupational health and safety risks, as well as producing a higher quality product for our customers!
